MEDICARE

Patient with Healthcare Nurse

Avoid these three common Medicare mistakes:

  1. Researching and enrolling through an internet site or calling an 800 number from a TV commercial.

  2. Taking the Medicare insurance advice of well-meaning friends, family and co-workers (unless that advice is to call Safe Hands Insurance Services).

  3. Failure to enroll in a drug plan because they don't currently take any medications..

Medicare

Most U.S. workers (and legal immigrants) become eligible for Medicare at age 65 or after certain disabilities/medical conditions.  The most complicated decision is determining the type of Medicare benefit that is right for you or a loved one.

3 most common Medicare health plan types:

  • Medicare Advantage Plan (MA or MAPD (base or [Special Needs Plan] SNP)

  • Stand-a-lone Prescription Drug Plan (PDP)

  • Medicare Supplement (Medi-gap)

Through our hands-on, consultative approach, we walk with our clients through their Medicare journey so they:

  • Understand if they should take or delay their Medicare benefits

  • Understand their various Medicare options

  • Know when to enroll (avoid late enrollment penalties)

  • Understanding the Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) and more…

If you or a loved-one:

  1. Is within 6-months to 12-months of turning 65.

  2. Is currently on Medicare but are not sure you are getting all of the benefits you deserve.
